ATTENTION CLASS OF 1992! It is time for our twenty year reunion! Hard to believe it is possible, but the plans to celebrate are well underway. We will be gathering at the newly renovated Arrowhead Golf Course on September 29th at 7:30. We hope you can make this great occasion! Invites will be sent out at the end of June with all the information so watch your mail. The Alumni Football Game organizing
committee is happy to announce two
significant changes to the event.
With encouragement from the alumni board and
support of SFHS we have added the classes of
2000 and 2001 to the event.
It was everyone's feeling that the more alumni
involved the better. With these new players
we anticipate almost 60 guys playing in this game.

Save the weekend of October 5th and 6th, 2012 for our 50 year reunion.
We’re hoping to have an informal gathering at Pal Joey’s in West Chicago on Friday night for those who can make it.
Saturday the 6th we would like to have our reunion get together at SFHS. The school has changed dramatically since the 60’s and would love to show it off to those who haven’t seen it. No more " pink girl’s gym” or skirted PE uniforms.
The class of ‘61 has challenged us to exceed their count of 94 alumni at their reunion last year. We will be sending out more information once we have finalized the plans. We hope to have a great showing to renew old acquaintances and, perhaps for the last time ,to be together as the class of ’62.

Charitable Contributions for Certain IRA Owners
With passage of the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization and Job Creation Act of 2010 (the Tax Act of 2010), Congress retroactively reinstated the ability to make direct qualified charitable distributions from your IRA account, in amounts up to $100,000, by IRA owners who are at least 70-1/2 years of age. This provision has been extended until December 31, 2011.

11/5/11- Kachmer’s 192 Yards and Three TD’s Lifts Brown Over Yale, 34-28
Junior tailback Mark Kachmer scored three touchdowns and ran for 192 yards, including a Brown and Yale Bowl record 95-yard run from scrimmage, the fourth longest run in Ivy League football history, to lead Brown to a 35-28 Ivy League win over Yale Saturday afternoon. The win, Brown’s sixth straight, gives the Bears a 7-1 overall record and keeps the Brown in second place in the Ivy League standings with a 4-1 league mark. Yale falls to 4-4 overall and 3-2 in the Ivy League.
